Information we collect
When you contact us
Your name, company, email address, phone number, the service you are interested in and anything you tell us in your message.
Candidates
Contact details, your CV, employment history, qualifications, salary and package details, right-to-work information, references, interview notes and assessments. Where required, identification details such as date of birth or National Insurance number.
Clients and business contacts
Names, job titles, business contact details and information about the roles, teams and transactions we support, including information needed for salary benchmarking, attrition risk assessment and leadership advisory work.
Attrition risk assessments
Attrition risk assessments look at divisions, departments and teams rather than individuals. To carry one out we may receive information from a client about the structure of their business, such as headcount, roles, reporting lines and reward. We use it only to produce the assessment for that client, keep it confidential, and return or delete it when the engagement ends.
Website visitors
With your consent, information about how you use this website, such as pages visited, device and browser type, approximate location, and anonymised records of clicks and scrolling (we use Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity). With your consent, we may also use a visitor insights service that identifies the organisation a visit comes from, based on its business IP address. See section 8.

Who we share it with
We do not sell personal information. We share it only where needed:
- With prospective employers, when a candidate is being considered for a role
- With background screening and referencing providers
- With service providers who support our business, such as website hosting, email, IT and data management, analytics and visitor insights providers
- With Formspree, which processes the forms on this website and delivers your enquiry to us by email. Formspree is based in the USA, so we rely on the safeguards described under International transfers
- With professional advisers, or where required by law or a regulator
International transfers
We recruit across the UK, EMEA and the USA, so personal information may be shared with clients or service providers outside the UK. When this happens we use appropriate safeguards, such as UK adequacy regulations or the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum, and share only what is needed.
How long we keep it
- Unsuccessful candidates: up to 12 months, unless you ask us to keep your details for future roles
- Placed candidates and client records: for as long as needed to provide our services and meet legal, tax and accounting obligations
- Website enquiries that do not lead to further work: up to 12 months, including the copy held by our form provider
- Analytics and visitor insight data: as set out in our cookie policy
Your rights
You have the right to access your personal information, ask us to correct or delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, ask for it to be transferred to you or another organisation, and withdraw consent at any time. To use any of these rights, email info@proprecsearch.com. We will respond within one month.
Cookies and visitor insights
We only use analytics and visitor insights tools if you accept them in our cookie banner. Visitor insights tell us which organisations visit our site so we can understand interest in our services. They are not used to identify you personally. You can change your choice at any time using . Full details are in our cookie policy.
